job_description.job_card.job_descriptionBachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering, or equivalent engineering program Professional Engineer (PE) registration in the State of Texas; or ability to register through reciprocity 15+ years of related water / wastewater or utility infrastructure experience Strong client management and project management skills Strong interpersonal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam / Adobe Pro Experience working with municipal clients a plus
Responsibilities
- Serve as client manager and / or senior project manager for selected clients / projects in the Austin area
- Work with leadership to develop a plan for expanding our client base or service offerings with existing clients and winning new work in the Central Texas area
- Train, coach, and mentor junior design staff in developing and delivering design projects
- Actively lead and participate in project pursuit and delivery to create an exemplary client experience
- Support development of strong client relationships with existing clients
- Monitor performance indicators, budgets, schedules, and manage risk
