Position Summary :

Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver) invites applications for part-time Arts & Technical Facilitator for the GITA's Applied / Queer / Trans Feminist Lab series. This interdisciplinary edition of the Lab explores abolitionist frameworks through artistic expression, engaging students in critical dialogue and creative production.

Key Responsibilities :

Collaborative Curriculum Support :

In collaboration with an academic mentor, design and implement the Lab.

Artistic & Technical Mentorship :

Provide individualized technical guidance and artistic mentorship to students throughout the Lab, supporting the development of their creative projects for the final exhibit.

Student Support & Communication :

Respond to student inquiries during Lab sessions and via email, offering feedback and troubleshooting support related to artistic techniques,

materials, and project execution.

Materials Coordination :

Manage the procurement and organization of materials necessary for student projects, ensuring timely availability and alignment with project needs.

Exhibit Preparation :

Provide technical expertise to the planning and execution of the final exhibit, assisting with installation, presentation, and documentation of student work.

This position is a Temporary position that is not benefits-eligible.
