A day in the life.

As the Associate Director, Financial Wellness, you will provide support and enhanced value to participants of our Institutional Retirement Plan (401(k); 403(b); pension; non-qualified) clients, drive revenue and profitability, develop new business opportunities, and improve / maintain client relationships, all in an entrepreneurial environment.

Here’s how we define early success for the Associate Director, Financial Wellness

• Support Compass’ Financial Wellness practice
• Meet with retirement plan participants 1 : 1 to enhance their financial wellness and security.
• Produce and facilitate group meetings for our institutional clients
• Develop and deliver strategic participant education and communication programming – design annual education plans; prepare content; conduct individual & group meetings; and track all metrics
• Retirement plan participant point of contact and retirement readiness coach– respond to participant inquiries; communicate with participants by phone / in- person while utilizing a variety of computer software & systems to assist in identifying action steps to reach retirement goals; serve as a retirement income specialist (retirement projections, financial plans, investment selection guidance, distribution planning)
• Support the development and implementation of custom designed, full-scale financial wellness programs for our clients
• Collaborate with the Director, Financial Wellness, Communications and Education Strategy on all financial wellness deliverables and programming
• Implement the servicing of the executive financial planning program to existing Compass clients; and help cross-sell program to other MMA Mid-Atlantic clients
• Project related support including content creation and development, process improvement, and documenting processes and procedures to create efficiencies across the team
• Stay abreast of current market, industry and legislative issues & trends
