Responsibilities
Installing, maintaining, and repairing automated systems in industrial settings.
Troubleshooting problems with these systems by performing tests, replacing parts, and using standard electronic equipment.
Logging equipment usage, parts replacement, and scheduled maintenance.
Assisting with the installation of new robotic systems and production equipment as needed.
Debugging and replacing pneumatic components and pick and place devices.
Perform routine diagnostic checks on automated systems.
Monitor automated systems.
Isolate problems and perform repairs.
Troubleshoot issues and determine if the problem is mechanical, electrical or from the computer systems controlling the process.
Install, maintain, and repair automated systems in industrial settings.
Troubleshoot problems with automated systems when they break down.
Log equipment usage, parts replacement, and scheduled maintenance to ensure maximum functionality.
Monitor and operate machines designed to perform tasks with minimal human intervention.
May also be referred to as robotics technicians and control and instrumentation specialists.
Will create, manage, and implement projects relating to OEE, Root-Cause Analysis, Time studies, retrofits, rebuilds, re-design of complex equipment mechanically as well as electrically.
Will provide PLC troubleshooting as needed including going online with PLC’s currently running active equipment.
Responsible for robotic systems troubleshooting and maintenance.
Qualifications
Familiar with high-speed automated assembly equipment, feed systems, robotics (Yaskawa and Denso)
Siemens PLC experience and Keyence / Cognex inspection cameras
Project Management (Rolling task list and special projects)
PC skills, Siemens, flow charting, Gantt Charts, Microsoft Office, CMMS
