We are looking for a dynamic and meticulous hands on Controller to lead the accounting operations of an organization in Manchester, New Hampshire we are working with. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy and ensuring fiscal responsibility across all aspects of the organization. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by aligning financial management with organizational goals and supporting long-term planning.

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable / receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead the development, monitoring, and forecasting of budgets in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Establish and maintain strong internal controls to ensure compliance with audits, and regulatory requirements
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff to foster growth and accountability.
  • Collaborate with organizational leadership to translate financial data into actionable insights and strategies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Expertise in accounting software, along with proficiency in Excel (Pivots) and Office 365.
  • Strong skills in budgeting, financial analysis, and strategic planning.
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities, particularly in explaining financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • A proactive mindset focused on efficiency, continuous improvement, and risk management.
