Job Description

General Summary Of Duties :

Massage Therapist position delivers professional, therapeutic massage and body treatments to guests while ensuring a comfortable and relaxing spa experience. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices and procedures, and Nevada law.

Role and Responsibilities : (Includes but is not limited to the following)

• Provide spa guests with a comfortable and relaxing spa experience while ensuring the utmost safety for our guests.
• Assess guest needs and inquire about contraindications (, allergies, high blood pressure, and pregnancy) before beginning service.
• Maintain the highest level of guest service by providing guests with a broad understanding of current massage techniques and procedures.
• Must be qualified and able to perform all treatments offered.
• Ensure uncompromising level of cleanliness of work area and / or treatment room at all times.
• Promote and sell spa / salon services including retail offerings related to the Spa. (Sales goals may be required.}
• Informs facility management of any member, guest, or facility issues.
• Is knowledgeable about the facility, the property and its amenities in order to effectively communicate with guests.
• Reports any incidents or accidents to a member of the management team.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Performance Requirements : (Knowledge, skills and abilities)

Experience Requirements :

Minimum 2 years' experience, preferably in a resort spa environment.
