Position Overview : The Accountant will play an essential role in daily and monthly accounting operations. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who excels in reconciliation, financial accuracy, and supporting the business with meaningful analysis. You will have exposure to a wide range of accounting functionsincluding bank and balance sheet activities, payroll support, and job costingand will participate in special projects that help improve processes and support continued growth. Key Responsibilities :

• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and timely
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and review accounts for accuracy each month
• Manage subcontractor payroll, including verification, setup, compliance, and weekly processing
• Support job costing, ensuring accurate tracking, coding, and reporting of job-related expenses
• Process and review employee expense reports following company policies
• Handle intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and cross-entity activity
• Assist with month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and preparing the P&L
• Maintain prepaid schedules and recurring allocations
• Prepare and file sales tax reports and monitor multi-jurisdiction compliance
• Track, assess, and support franchise tax requirements and exposure
• Work on a variety of special projects, process improvements, and ad-hoc reporting as assigned
• Utilize QuickBooks Desktop to manage day-to-day accounting activity
