LocumJobsOnline is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Gastroenterology MD in Ashtabula, Ohio, 44004!

About The Position

Seeking a permanent Gastroenterologist to join a growing employed multi-specialty group practice of over 60 providers. This high-volume outpatient and internal medicine practice offers blocked OR time, advanced technology, onsite lab and imaging, and a fully integrated EPIC EMR. The role involves working alongside experienced physicians and an advanced practice provider within a well-established referral network. Open to H-1B and J-1 visa candidates.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Provide outpatient gastroenterology and internal medicine care
  • See 15–20 patients per day (non-negotiable)
  • Collaborate with a team of 2 physicians and an advanced practice provider
  • Perform procedures during blocked OR time
  • Utilize onsite lab and X-ray services
  • Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC EMR
  • Participate in on-call rotation (10 days / month)
  • Work closely with referring primary care physicians

Job Requirements

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology (required)
  • Ohio medical license (or in process)
  • BLS and ACLS certification by start date
  • DEA license prior to start (no exemptions)
  • Must live within 40 miles or be willing to relocate
  • Visa support available for J-1 or H-1B candidates
