Mechanical Engineering Intern

This position can be part time (2-3 days per week).

This position will get a mixture of hands-on projects, lab experience and computer and administrative work. EDAG interns are provided valuable assignments and work alongside experienced engineers to gain a real-world experience in Mechanical Engineering and Design. All specific assignment details will be identified and shared with the intern prior to their start date and will be aligned with their field of study. We strive to provide the best internship experience possible, and each intern will be treated as a valuable, contributing team member.

  • Support specific programs through documentation and reporting
  • Partner with the engineering team to provide customers a world class design, cost and quality product
  • Collaborate among interdisciplinary teams to solve problems
  • Gain experience using a variety of engineering software programs
  • Participate in both external client, and internal meetings
  • Other general engineering tasks as needed

This position requires :

  • Current enrollment in a 4 year Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering program preferred
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent organization and communication skills required
  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented
  • Strong desire to learn all aspects of engineering consulting
