Responsibilities
As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will assess and provide specialized therapy to patients in a home environment, under the guidance of an attending physician. In this role, you will work in various settings such as single or multi-family homes, assisted living facilities, independent living spaces, or memory care units.
Your responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients with language impairments, motor speech disorders, dysphagia, cognitive communication challenges, voice disorders, and those in need of alternative or augmentative communication. At Enhabit, you will have the opportunity to assist patients recovering from strokes and those facing progressive conditions like Parkinson's disease and dementia.
