Job Description

Nacho Offroad Technology is a manufacturer of aftermarket automotive lighting. We take pride in being off road enthusiasts and design products we are passionate about. In-house design, validation, and manufacturing with an aggressive roadmap of new products planned. Looking for innovators and dreamers that know how to execute, we do not make me-too products!

Responsibilities :

Responsible for the design and development of new lighting assemblies from concept to production
Create and maintain DFMEA to mitigate risk
CAD design for manufacturability and assembly
Develop and maintain 2D CAD drawings using GD&T practice
Research and Interpret regulatory compliance specifications
Manage development timeline to meet schedule
Manage prototype process to mitigate risk
Manage validation testing, design fixtures to support both test and assembly
Work with cross functional team to ensure design meets cost, performance, timing, and quality
Work directly with suppliers for manufacturability and tool design
Research new technologies and materials for constant product improvements
Reduce cost using shared components and intelligent designs

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

5+ years of experience in mechanical design

5+ years of experience in CAD design (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)

Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines

Experience with off-road vehicle design is a plus

Knowledge of regulatory standards and safety requirements is a plus

In-office in Mesa Arizona, limited remote work available
