This role is with Middle and Large Commercial IT and focuses on serving as a Scrum Master to be a servant leader and coach for our Agile Scrum Teams. It emphasizes execution with robust Agile practices, governance of metrics, leadership to drive key roadmap initiatives, and risk management. The Scrum Master will also drive program-level continuous improvement and keep team members and business / technology leaders informed of progress against objectives.

This role will have a Hybrid work schedule, with the expectation of working in an office (Columbus, OH, Chicago, IL, Hartford, CT or Charlotte, NC) 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and support two Scrum Teams by fostering Agile values and practices, while bringing hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools.
• Ensure team adherence to Agile principles and provide coaching on executing the Scrum framework.
• Organize and facilitate ceremonies, identify improvement opportunities, and track team progress.
• Remove impediments to progress and protect the team from outside influences.
• Partner with the Product Owner to prioritize backlog items based on business value.
• Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, demos, and decision-making processes.

Additional AI Knowledge Requirements

Candidate must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. The company will not support the STEM OPT I-983 Training Plan endorsement for this position.

Compensation

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartfords total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is : $108,800 - $163,200
