Pipe Welder

We have an exciting opportunity for a local / Nonlocal Pipe Welder position in Newport News, VA with one of our Clients in the Ship Repair Industry. Qualifications

Multi-pass. All position fillet and butt welds using the SMAW (Shielded metal arc) process Ability to fuse inserts and weld carbon steel, stainless steel and copper nickel pipe using the SMAW and GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) processes Mirror welding using SMAW and GTAW

Use fillet gauges, butt gauges, and a six-inch scale

Heating oxygen / propane heating

Ability to fuse inserts and weld carbon steel, stainless steel and copper nickel pipe

Must be able to pass hair follicle drug test Hours :

Must be open to all 3 shifts

Pay : $50 Hr

$135 Per diem if you qualify
