Overview :

Greenwood Industries is seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate / Deliver Driver to join our team. As a Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for various tasks related to Warehouse and delivery operations, including Forklift operation, loading and unloading materials, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment, driving construction materials to and from job sites. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.

Responsibilities :

Operate forklifts and move materials and equipment within the yard and warehouse
Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment and techniques
Assist in the rigging and securing of loads for transport
Stage materials for upcoming roofing jobs
Build and assemble pallets, and other packaging materials as needed
Maintain inventory control of roofing material
Perform general maintenance tasks to keep the yard and warehouse clean and organized
Follow all safety guidelines and protocols, including OSHA regulations
Assist with shipping and receiving duties as required
Support off-site maintenance and delivery / pick-up assignments

Required Skills / Abilities :

Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks

Must have Driver's License and possess or be able to acquire Department of Transportation Medical card which will require physical and drug testing

Ability to work in a warehouse facility; indoors and frequently outside

Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures

Ability to safely lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks

Attention to detail and organizational skills

Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $24.00 per hour
