Material Handler
Receive and count stock items, recording data manually or using a computer. Pack and unpack items for stocking on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards. Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts and investigate discrepancies. Store items orderly and accessibly in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas. Label stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment. Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Keep records on the use and / or damage of stock or stock handling equipment. Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors. Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers.
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Team player with attention to detail. Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies for effective security operations.
High school diploma or GED required. 0-2 years of experience in material handling. Experience with inventory, picking, packing, and RF scanners. Hardworking and able to stand for long periods of time. Ability to work with computers. GMP experience is a plus. Must be able to be cross-trained.
Sun - Tues (every other Wednesday) 5 am - 5 pm Thurs - Sat (every other Wednesday) 5 am - 5 pm $17.31 / hour.
This is a contract to hire position based out of Mesa, AZ. The pay range for this position is $17.31 - $17.31 / hr.
