Job Purpose : As a Medical Assistant (Float), you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical teams by ensuring seamless patient care and provider support across various locations. This position is key to maintaining high-quality care and operational flexibility, stepping in where needed to uphold our commitment to patient-centered service and excellence.

What You Will Do :

• Prepares patient charts for upcoming visits, ensuring all necessary forms are completed, reviewed, and properly integrated into the patient's chart.
• Welcomes patients, conducts check-in, and escorts them to examination rooms.
• Performs delegated medical tasks, including recording vitals, medical history, reasons for the visit, and documenting all in the patient's medical record.
• Conducts visual acuity screenings as part of routine physical exams.
• Administers injections and assists providers with medical procedures.
• Performs blood draws, collects specimens, conducts urine drug screenings, and communicates results.
• Maintains cleanliness and readiness of exam rooms between appointments, including stocking necessary supplies and disposing of expired supplies and biohazard waste.
• Works collaboratively with providers to troubleshoot patient issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
