POSITION SUMMARY

The Audit Letter Response Analyst plays a vital role within the firm's Conflicts Department, monitoring, managing, reviewing, and drafting incoming audit letter requests for firm clients. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is committed to the highest standards of compliance and client service. The Audit Letter Response Analyst works closely with firm partners, attorneys, and Conflicts team members to ensure all audit letter requests are processed efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with the American Bar Association Statement of Policy Regarding Lawyers' Responses to Auditors' Requests for Information (ABA Statement) and firm policies. The role also supports special projects and contributes to the department's ongoing success and innovation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Audit Letter Management

• Oversee and assist in the firm's audit letter response process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all requests.
• Review audit letter responses, supporting documentation, and prior responses and / or engagement letters for compliance with the ABA Statement and firm policies and procedures.
• Revise or draft audit letter responses for attorney review.
• Escalate issues or questions as needed to ensure responses satisfy the ABA Statement and firm policies.
• Coordinate with business professionals to deliver responses to attorneys and auditors.
• Monitor the status of audit letter requests and follow up to ensure deadlines are met.
• Make recommendations for the continuous improvement of audit letter response and delivery.

SALARY

Illinois based applicants only : The target annual salary range for this role is currently $78,000 - $85,000 based on a regular, full-time schedule. The amount of compensation offered will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications, market data and internal equity. To tal compensation includes a comprehensive healthcare benefits package, yearly retirement contribution, and may include an annual discretionary merit bonus.
