About the Role
The Company is seeking an Assistant Dean for Workforce Development. The successful candidate will work closely with the Dean to oversee instructional and management responsibilities at the specified Workforce Development site. This includes providing site supervision of nursing program activities, assisting with the implementation of special projects, and ensuring program compliance with regulatory standards. The role also involves a significant teaching component, with a 50% load in skills lab, sim lab, and / or clinical, as well as participation in faculty and student handbooks, program budget, and the maintenance of on-site student records.
Candidates for the Assistant Dean position must have a valid and active Registered Nursing License, with a preference for a master's degree in nursing. A minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in nursing programs and 4 years of continuous experience as a registered nurse in direct patient care are required. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to diversity. Responsibilities also include collaborating with external and internal stakeholders, maintaining proficiency with technology, and participating in the recruitment and admission process for nursing students. The role demands a leader with a collaborative, team-oriented approach, and the ability to work with diverse teams.
