We are seeking a CMT Inspector to join our Beaumont, TX team! Come join us!

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Serve as project inspector for construction activities for large and / or small complex construction
• Ensure contractors build roadways, bridges, and related highway structures in accordance with the plans and specifications
• Attend pre-construction and progress
• Consult with Project Manager and Project Engineer on contract progress, monthly estimates, and unusual issues with the interpretation of the plans and specifications
• Inspect ongoing construction
• Calculate payments due to the contractor for work completed
• Complete pay reports for the actual work
• Conduct testing to ensure that material test work performed, and materials meet the requirements
• Inspect barricades and traffic control devices at construction project sites for compliance with specifications for devices, safety laws, rules, and regulations
• Inspect project SW3P for compliance with the project Epic
• Maintain daily diary of work activity and progress
• Maintain construction project records and process related
• Monitor lane closures at construction sites and document changes in traffic control
