Summary

We are offering employment opportunities to those looking to work with children ages 16 months through 14 years old. We currently have 2 campuses, in Newport News and Hampton and are expanding the number of classrooms. We are offering immediate and continuous employment for afternoons from 12 : 00-5 : 30pm Monday through Friday.

Duties

• Assistants to work with students ages 16 months through middle school daily from 8 : 00 am to 5 : 30 pm and 12 : 00 pm to 5 : 30 pm
• Caring for and assisting with the education of children
• Ensuring the environment is prepared and safe
• Working with the lead teacher to create an effective learning environment for students
• Other duties depending on the specific level of the children served by the position

Benefits

These are year-round positions, that follow the academic calendar with winter break, spring break, etc. Benefits may include paid time off, professional development, 100% paid medical and dental insurance, 100% paid short and long-term disability, as well as retirement funds after 3 years for full-time employees. Hours vary depending upon position, currently between 8 : 00 am and 5 : 30 pm.
