Warehouse Order Picker

COMPENSATION : $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

LOCATION : Ypsilanti, MI 48197

JOB TYPE : Full-time

SHIFTS :

  • 1st Shift : Monday to Friday, begins at 7 : 00 AM, up to 12 hours.
  • 2nd Shift : Sunday to Thursday, Sunday begins at 12 : 00 PM, Monday to Thursday begins at 3 : 00 PM, up to 12 hours.
  • 3rd Shift : Monday to Friday, starts at 12 : 00 AM, up to 12 hours.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

As a Warehouse Order Picker, you'll be crucial in ensuring that goods are delivered efficiently and effectively, supporting America's food distribution system. This role offers growth opportunities within a safe and inclusive work environment.

    • PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Accurately and efficiently pick products and prepare orders for shipment.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Operate scanning equipment and pack orders according to customer requirements.
  • Meet productivity and quality standards.
  • Identify mistakes, problem-solve, and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

    • REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

  • High School Diploma / GED or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work scheduled times and required overtime.
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, reach, and lift throughout the shift.
  • Lift and stack products weighing between 10-35 pounds, occasionally up to 80 pounds.
  • Ability to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).

    • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Exceptional attendance.
  • 1-2 years of warehouse and / or production work experience preferred.
  • OSHA Forklift operator certificate not required but beneficial.

    • DRESS CODE :

  • Casual attire.
  • No steel-toe footwear required.
  • No cell phones or devices on the plant floor.
