JOB DESCRIPTION
Massage therapist is responsible for greeting Bergamos Retreat guests in the Spa, making them comfortable, and providing them with 5 star massages and / or body treatments. The ultimate purpose is to provide relaxation and restoration to our guests. Must work with and aid other team members in spa operations to ensure a 5 star experience for the guest.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, other duties may be assigned :
- Prepare room and tools necessary for scheduled treatments
- Ensure treatment room and areas are clean and sanitized using approved sanitizing procedures
- Restock treatment products in treatment areas
- Remove soiled laundry
- Bring in clean laundry Assist in opening and closing duties
- Transport guests
- Perform a variety of massage modalities including deep tissue and hot stone massage
- Perform variety of body treatments
- Willingness to receive training on new procedures
- Any tasks deemed necessary by manager to keep spa clean, stocked, and operating smoothly
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Must comply with all company policies and procedures.To perform the essential functions of this position regular and consistent attendance in required.Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers and interact with our guests.Must have the flexibility to work nights and weekends.Must have Texas State License required and required continuing education units, required 6 months as a practicing Licensed Massage Therapist preferredMust have excellent verbal communication skillsMust be able to communicate effectively with guests, managers and team membersMust be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals.PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Bergamos Retreat believes in proper work-life balance. All LMT shifts are for 5 hours. A professional hourly rate is paid for time at work, with or without an appointment. The hourly rate is a reflection of your productivity rate (scheduled time / booked time) and will be adjusted accordingly to your performance.
