Role Overview :
We are seeking a Marketing Strategist to own strategy and execution for retention programs across our leading Shopify ecommerce clients. You will act as a strategic partner not just a campaign manager guiding clients through data-driven insights and creative thinking to build retention programs that deepen customer relationships, drive revenue, and strengthen brand loyalty. This role combines strategic leadership, hands-on execution, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver measurable impact for our clients' businesses.
Responsibilities :
Lead retention strategy : Own email, SMS, and lifecycle marketing strategy across multiple ecommerce clients, aligning programs with growth goals and customer behavior.
Build intelligent customer journeys : Use segmentation, personalization, and automation to craft tailored experiences that convert and retain customers.
Collaborate cross-functionally : Partner with our design, copy, and development teams to translate strategies into thoughtful creative and seamless execution.
Analyze and optimize : Track performance, test hypotheses, and translate results into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
Own your accounts : Act as the strategic lead, proactively presenting opportunities, sharing learnings, and helping clients understand what's driving growth and customer loyalty.
Innovate with AI and automation : Identify ways to use emerging tools to improve segmentation, A / B testing, creative development, and reporting efficiency.
Lead client strategy calls : Communicate findings clearly, guide decision-makers through data, and align stakeholders around strategic initiatives.
Develop and refine retention frameworks : Create tailored customer lifecycle strategies that reflect each brand's unique goals and customer base.
