Telecommunications Programmer Analyst Senior-Lead
The Telecommunications Programmer Analyst Senior-Lead analyzes, evaluates, and maintains systems including data network, voice systems, commercial cellular equipment, public safety wireless and / or video communications systems. Incumbents conduct analytical studies to define problems, identify deficiencies, and recommend solutions that impact the enterprise and user unit effectiveness. This position has the highest level of technical expertise, works on complex assignments requiring considerable independent discretion and judgment, and may act as a lead providing training and guidance to Technology Bureau staff.

Position Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Experience : Five (5) years of work experience in a telecommunications analyst, network analysis or similar position OR Combined education and experience qualifications : An equivalent combination of education and job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year for year basis.
Other requirements :
Must possess a valid Arizona driver's license or have the ability to obtain by the time of hire. Training that may be provided on-the-job : FEMA NIMS IS100 and 700; Safety; Payroll; PREA. Prior to hiring, the Sheriff's Office requires that all candidates pass an extensive background review.

Experience in programming advanced features in Avaya premise-based PBX systems, such as coverage paths, caller applications, trunk programming and call center applications.
