Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced F&B Supervisor to support daily kitchen operations at Zion Canyon Hot Springs. The ideal candidate will lead kitchen staff in delivering high-quality food in a timely, safe, and professional manner. This hands-on role is essential in maintaining food safety standards, coordinating meal preparation, and ensuring a clean, efficient kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
Kitchen Operations & Food Preparation :
- Supervise all back-of-house operations during shifts, ensuring food is prepared, cooked, and presented to quality standards.
- Assist with food prep and line cooking as needed during peak hours.
- Ensure all kitchen areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with health codes and sanitation standards.
- Oversee and support inventory rotation (FIFO), stock levels, and communicate supply needs to the Food & Beverage Manager.
Staff Supervision & Training :
Lead, schedule, and motivate kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.Train new team members on kitchen procedures, safety, and food handling protocols.Foster a collaborative team culture and encourage accountability and consistency.Safety & Compliance :
Ensure compliance with all local health and food safety regulations.Monitor proper use and care of kitchen equipment and tools.Assist with kitchen inspections and maintain readiness for audits.Guest Service Support :
Communicate clearly with front-of-house staff to ensure timely food service and address special dietary needs or guest requests.Uphold service standards that contribute to a positive guest experience.Qualifications
Experience :
Minimum 2 years of kitchen or culinary experience in a supervisory or lead role.Experience in hospitality, resort, or wellness settings is a plus.Skills & Traits :
Strong leadership and communication skills.Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen operations.Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.Detail-oriented and committed to cleanliness and food safety.Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.Certifications (Preferred) :
ServSafe Food Handler or Manager certification.First Aid / CPR certification is a plus.What We Offer
