Sr. Director, Global Technical Accounting & External Reporting (hybrid)

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Sr. Director, Global Technical Accounting & External Reporting to join their team for a Hybrid role. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $206,000 to $252,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities :

Provide strategic oversight and technical expertise on complex accounting issues. Ensure compliance with GAAP and IFRS.

Lead the preparation and review of external financial statements, including quarterly and annual reports (10-Q and 10-K).

Monitor and implement changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Manage the annual audit process, including the preparation of audit schedules and responses to auditor inquiries.

Oversee the design, implementation, and monitoring of internal control over financial reporting (ICFR).

Support strategic planning initiatives by providing insights from financial reporting and technical accounting perspectives. Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification is required.

Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and accounting softwares (XBRL).

12 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with significant exposure to technical accounting, financial reporting, and SEC reporting in a global context.

Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals.

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
