About the Team

This team is building production AI that eliminates financial busywork for startups globally. We’re delivering intelligent automation across payments, payroll, bookkeeping, and tax—freeing founders to focus on building their companies instead of managing finances.

We leverage cutting‑edge AI tooling across the spectrum : from prompt engineering and in‑context learning to fine‑tuned models and agentic systems, choosing the right approach for each problem. We work backward from real founder pain points, own customer outcomes, and ship fast.

About the Role

You’ll design the backbone of our intelligent finance systems — scalable services, resilient APIs, and thoughtful data models. Our backend is primarily Python on GCP, and your work will ensure we can move quickly while maintaining enterprise‑grade reliability and security.

What You’ll Do

• Architect distributed systems on GCP for high‑volume, high‑sensitivity data.
• Build well‑structured APIs and services in Python to power AI applications and frontends.
• Own schema and data modeling for long‑term growth and flexibility.
• Create infrastructure that enables rapid iteration while ensuring reliability.
• Collaborate with AI engineers to build systems where data improves models and models improve products.
