About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Asset Management and Compliance to join their team. The successful candidate will be tasked with maintaining a high-quality portfolio of assets and executing strategic goals related to portfolio benchmarks, acquisitions, and dispositions. This role is pivotal in ensuring that investment strategies are effectively implemented and evolved to create value within the portfolio. The VP will be responsible for the financial, operational, and physical health of the properties, and must work closely with property management to identify and address challenges. Additionally, the role involves overseeing compliance with all regulatory programs and requires the ability to analyze portfolio performance and assist in strategic business planning. Applicants for the VP position should have a minimum of 7 years' experience in a leadership role that includes asset management, property management, or affordable housing development, with a focus on LIHTC. A Bachelor's degree in business administration or a relevant field is required, with a Master's degree preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial planning and analysis, as well as skills in organizational development, personnel management, and strategic planning. Excellent people skills are essential, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive towards solutions. The role also involves fostering a success-oriented, accountable environment and maintaining strong relationships with lenders and investors.
