The ideal candidate will have broad trade experience, strong finish carpentry skills, and a talent for stepping in to complete tasks that don't warrant a subcontractor. This role is critical in ensuring that high-end residential jobs run smoothly, stay on schedule, and exceed client expectations. Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities on high-end residential remodels- Ensure job site safety, cleanliness, and organization- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to maintain project timelines and standards- Communicate effectively and professionally with homeowners and clients- Resolve problems and adapt plans quickly to maintain project progress- Perform and inspect finish carpentry and detail work- Anticipate project needs and plan several steps ahead to prevent delays- Maintain detailed daily site reports and communicate progress to management- Lead by example with craftsmanship and jobsite professionalism Qualifications- 5+ years of experience in residential remodeling or construction- Broad working knowledge of all residential construction trades- Proficiency in finish carpentry required- Strong problem-solving and forward-planning skills- Excellent communication and client interaction skills- Professional appearance and demeanor appropriate for high-end clientele- Ability to work independently and make on-the-spot decisions with confidence- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.- Ability to lead and mentor other carpenters and laborers.
