This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable.

As part of a small, hardworking team of experts, you will be responsible for the development of propellant tanks for New Glenn Advanced Upper Stage. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.

Responsibilities :

• Responsible engineer for launch vehicle propellant tanks primary and / or secondary structures, and related components or assemblies.
• Own hardware through the full life cycle : design, analysis, manufacturing, and test.
• Perform research, develop concepts, and run trade studies to meet performance and cost targets
• Build 3D models, detail part drawings, assemblies, installations, and interface control documents using Creo and / or Catia V5
• Plan, coordinate, conduct tests, and review test data
• Create test plans, specifications, and other documentation for the production of flight hardware at rate either internally or with suppliers
• Provide manufacturing and production support, including travel when needed.
• Work with multi-functional teams that are responsible for selecting materials, manufacturing processes, and suppliers to produce world class aerospace hardware
• Maintain and report on activity schedule, budget and technical status

CO applicants is $129,611.00-$181,454.70;WA applicants is $140,959.00-$197,342.25

Required for certain Job Profiles : Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
