Job Purpose

As a Shipping And Receiving Clerk at our warehouse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient handling and distribution of supplies and equipment. You will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and upholding high standards of safety and organization within the warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare outgoing shipments, including picking, packaging, labeling, and loading items for transport.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using electronic inventory management systems matched with hands on physical counts.
• Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues with shipments.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
• Assist in organizing and optimizing warehouse storage space for efficient inventory management.
• Participate in periodic inventory counts and audits to monitor stock levels and track inventory movements.
• Collaborate with team members to meet shipping deadlines and fulfill customer orders in a timely manner.
