Environmental Services Position

Children's Minnesota is one of the largest pediatric health systems in the United States and the only health system in Minnesota to provide care exclusively to children, from before birth through young adulthood. The Environmental Services Department provides cleaning and / or disinfecting services in all hospital areas. They are also responsible for the collection and management of infectious and solid waste, moves, set-ups, used equipment, recycling program, pest control, and environmental maintenance.

Position Summary

Under direct supervision, performs daily cleaning tasks for patient and resident rooms, nursing station, lounges, restrooms, offices, clinic areas, and any other areas assigned in accordance with standard procedures of the Environmental Services Department and in accordance with facility standards and objectives.

Experience

• 6 months general housekeeping experience preferred.
• Customer service experience required.
