Job Purpose

About Us : Amiad Water Filtration Company is a leading provider of water filtration solutions, dedicated to delivering high-quality products and services to our customers. We are committed to innovation, sustainability, and excellence in everything we do.

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Clerk to join our team in Fresno, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehousing, with at least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role. This position requires familiarity with SAP, inventory procedures, labeling systems, and engraving systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

Inventory Management

  • Receive, verify, and record incoming shipments
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate records using warehouse management systems (WMS)

Shipping & Receiving

  • Prepare and package outgoing shipments accurately and on time
  • Inspect and document the condition of goods upon receipt
  • Generate shipping labels and necessary documentation (e.g., bills of lading)
  • Order Fulfillment

  • Pick, pack, modify, and stage orders according to customer specifications
  • Ensure orders are complete, correct, and properly labeled
  • Data Entry & Documentation

  • Enter shipping and receiving data into systems accurately
  • Maintain logs, files, and documentation for audit and tracking
  • General Warehouse Operations

  • Organize and maintain clean and orderly storage areas
  • Operate basic material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts if certified)
  • Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory audits
  • Communication & Coordination

  • Communicate with procurement, logistics, and customer service teams as needed
  • Report inventory shortages, damages, or order issues promptly
  • Compliance & Safety

  • Follow company policies, safety procedures, and OSHA guidelines
  • Identify and report potential hazards or unsafe practices
  • Education and Experience

    Education :

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
  • Additional coursework or certifications in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations is a plus
  • Experience :

  • 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics role preferred
  • Experience with inventory software or warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Fishbowl) is a plus
  • Skills & Competencies :

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic math and computer proficiency
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. and stand / walk for extended periods
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Forklift certification is a plus
  • Work Environment

  • Professional office environment and occasional field environment may occur.
  • Routinely required to use standard office equipment.
  • Must adhere to company safety policies and wear the required personal protective equipment as needed.
  • Physical Demands

  • Required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to operate office equipment, talk, and hear.
  • May occasionally lift or move office products and supplies up to 50 pounds.
  • Travel

  • Travel will be required on a very minimum basis
