Automotive Instructional Aide I-Part Time

Class Description

The purpose of this class is to provide training, assistance and technical support to instructors in an Automotive instructional lab. Current or former CCBC student with these requirements preferred.

Minimum Requirements

High School diploma / GED

Able to pass and maintain SP2 certifications

Able to pass and maintain ASE certifications (ASE Automotive certification preferred)

1-year automotive service experience

Some day time, evening, and Saturday hours may be needed.

Class Specific Essential Duties

• Operate and store / allocate equipment, tools and / or instructional materials used in the classroom and the lab for instructional purposes;
• Cover evening and weekend class hours, as assigned, reporting any operational issues to program leadership promptly;
• Maintain a neat, safe and well organized shop environment;
• Maintain a clean shop;
• Enforce safety standards among all class participants;
• Support instruction as required;

Perform other duties as assigned.
