Founded in 1984, Firetrol is the national leader in fire protection & life safety services. We are currently seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our team. Under the direction of the Office Manager and work as a member of the Administrative Team, perform administrative duties along with financial analysis of data in accordance with established procedures. We are seeking a dedicated team member who takes pride in their work and demonstrates genuine commitment to individual and team success, self-driven and motivated, posses strong reading comprehension skills to accurately interpret written instructions, policies, and documentations.

Major Responsibilities :

  • Working in collaboration with office managers, their team, and human resources
  • Maintain / updates employee status changes, PTO / SSL balances, and benefits
  • Accuracy in data entry and maintaining employee information
  • Attention to details and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong organizational skills and critical thinking skills
  • Coordination with project managers
  • Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive data
  • Participate in analyzing and improving business processes within our department for optimization or standards of quality
  • Interface with human resource information system and team to ensure integration requirements are properly implemented
  • Proactive attitude that focuses on creating ideas and plans for correcting issues or handling daily tasks
  • Any other job-related duties assigned and not limited to any other duties / task needed from admin

Requirements

Background :

  • High School Diploma. Related associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in basic accounting and business software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications
  • 4+ years of payroll processing, preferably multi-state payroll experience.
