Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and route them to the appropriate team (pharmacy, DME, billing, etc.)
- Make outbound calls to patients, caregivers, and facilities to coordinate monthly DME orders
- Confirm supply needs, delivery dates, and insurance information with patients
- Document all communications and updates accurately in the patient’s chart / system
- Ensure patient records are current and complete with necessary authorizations or documentation
- Maintain a professional and empathetic demeanor with all patient interactions
- Collaborate closely with DME staff and pharmacy team to ensure seamless service
- Perform general front desk duties as needed, including faxing, scanning, and filing
Qualifications
Education : High school diploma or equivalent.Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentProficient with computers and EHR / EMR systems (training provided)Detail-oriented and dependableBilingual (Spanish / English) or previous experience in a medical office / pharmacy / DME setting a plusAdditional Information
