Position Description

ADP is hiring a Mainframe Storage Engineer. This is a REMOTE position and applications for this posting will be accepted until 8 / 26 / 24.

Responsibilities :

Plan, design, manage, configure, implement, performance tune, provide backup and recovery, data replication, and disaster recovery of a fast-growing, complex storage environment.

Use your knowledge of best practices for disk configurations, SMS management, catalog management, and tape technologies.

Manage, maintain, and implement data storage solutions, utilizing DELL PMAX, and IBM VTS.

Install, configure, and ongoing operation of key IBM (z / OS utilities) and DELL Software products such as Mainframe Enablers.

Support 24x7 operations and on-call responsibilities.

Install, maintain, and customize operating systems and system software.

Provide training to clients and colleagues.

Qualifications :

5+ years of experience with z / OS and MVS experience in all IBM utilities and mainframe disciplines.

Experience with access methods and VSAM Record Level Sharing, as well as TSO / ISPF, JCL, DFSMS, HSM, DSS, DFP, IBM utilities, RMM, SRDF / A.

Experience with disaster recovery development, testing, & implementation.

Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
