The mission of the Allen Institute administration team is to provide support and structure to the scientific divisions. Coinciding with the team science approach, administration helps facilitate team learning and the overall mission of the institute.
The Allen Institute is seeking an experienced Career Development Partner to coach and provide career development programing to employees. This is an opportunity to put your career coaching, facilitation, and program management skills to use supporting employees in a way that helps them thrive in their career. This role reports to the Director, Learning Experience and Development (LEaD) and will work with People & Culture and partners across the organization to support and develop our LEaD program portfolio. The Career Development Partner will provide career coaching, coordinate and design monthly career development workshops, and partner with external vendors and internal customers to offer other development opportunities throughout the year. This role will collaborate with outside educational institutions and services to understand requirements for admission, as well as career progression and educational resources available for employees. This position will also work directly with employees to understand their career ambitions, identify what is necessary to achieve career goals, and create development plans for individual career goal attainment.
