Brake Press Operator

Job Responsibilities for the Machine Operator :

• Set up, program, and operate press brake machinery for metal fabrication
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders
• Measure and inspect parts for accuracy and make necessary adjustments
• Label and organize finished components for tracking and workflow
• Use computer systems to access drawings and complete job functions
• Maintain an organized, safe work area while meeting production and quality goals
• Communicate job status effectively with team members
• Assist in training new operators to ensure smooth onboarding

Requirements for the Machine Operator :

• Experience operating press brake or CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills and understanding of machine operations
• Basic computer skills to support production tasks
• Familiarity with CNC, press brake, laser, or punch equipment preferred but not required
• Ability to lift and safely handle materials up to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
