Substance Abuse Treatment and Recovery Program

Glenwood Life Counseling Center , a progressive, CARF certified, non-profit, medication-assisted treatment and recovery program is seeking full or part time addictions counselors to provide group and individual counseling and case management services to opiate-addicted adults.

Requirements :

The ideal candidate will have :

• Experience working with substance use disorder.
• A minimum of an AA degree (BA preferred) in mental health, psychology, addictions, social work, or related behavioral health field.
• A “trainee status “(or eligible to apply for it) in addictions or a CSC / CAC.                                                                                                                                             or
• A  master’s degree and a license in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field.    (Candidates without a license may be eligible to apply for a “trainee status”.)

Glenwood Life Counseling Center is a non profit, urban Medication Assisted Treatment program providing therapy, education, medication, case management, and recovery services to approximately 600 clients and their families annually. We have been in continuous operation since 1971 and are a state of Maryland and CARF-certified ambulatory opioid-agonist treatment program.
