Corporate Lawyer

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and business-minded Corporate Attorney to join our growing organization. This role will serve as a trusted legal advisor to executive leadership and cross-functional teams, supporting strategic initiatives and ensuring sound legal and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in corporate and commercial law, with experience in equipment finance, leasing, and transactional matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance across U.S. and Canadian business units, including support for commercial transactions, vendor and customer contracts, corporate governance, and compliance.
• Partner with executive and senior leaders to assess and mitigate legal risks associated with key business strategies and initiatives.
• Manage and coordinate outside counsel to ensure effective and efficient handling of specialized legal matters.
• Oversee due diligence and advise on the legal aspects of financing, syndications, and capital markets activities.
• Develop and enhance internal policies and procedures to strengthen compliance, governance, and risk management practices.
• Offer practical, solutions-oriented advice on contractual and dispute resolution matters.
