A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity : RN - OR Job Details : Work Monday through Friday from 6 : 45 AM to 3 : 15 PM Call responsibilities required during the week and weekend coverage Must have Tennessee RN or multi-state RN license Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, and PALS (must be through American Heart Association) Minimum 2 years recent OR RN experience required Perform plan of care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments Document patient care and monitor patient conditions Assist patients with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation Collaborate with care teams to coordinate patient care, transfers, discharge, and referrals Provide patient / family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances Must have knowledge of general surgery, orthopedic procedures including total joints, OB, GYN, and endoscopy Cover C-sections and perform recovery duties for general surgery patients with ETT as needed Work as circulator and provide patient recovery services before transferring to floor or same day surgery Work as advocate for physical and emotional well-being of patients Facility : This regional hospital provides comprehensive surgical services including general surgery, orthopedic procedures, obstetrics and gynecology, and endoscopy services.
