SAFETY :

  • Understand and follow all safety procedures

Current on all safety training

  • Wears all required PPE when necessary (steel toe boots, safety glasses, earplugs)
  • Understand Lock Out Tag Out procedures for assigned areas.
  • Complete General Plant Safety Training within the first 8 weeks.
  • TECHNICAL SKILLS :

  • Examine, measure, and weigh materials or products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring devices such as rulers, micrometers, or scales.
  • Effectively load the correct product onto the line and record the product on the loading sheet.
  • Inspect the boards for defects and stack them neatly on the correct pallet.
  • Record all made products, rejects, and downtime on correct paperwork.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and regulations for the area
  • Understand and perform correctly all necessary quality checks to ensure a properly cut trim board.
  • Keep all areas clean and free from debris by following standard work daily cleaning sheets.
  • EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE :

  • Trim Saw
  • Biesse Saw
  • Soffit Press
  • Pac-tool
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

  • Must be able to lift up to 80lbs and push-pull up to 75 pounds.
  • Must be able to work long periods while continuously standing, twisting, bending, reaching, and stooping
  • Must be able to safely walk and work around machinery.
  • Must be able to visually identify quality defects and concerns with the product line.
