If you're looking for a career where you can make a lasting difference, this is the perfect opportunity.ResponsibilitiesImplement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) designed by BCBAs to improve social, communication, and daily living skills.Provide 1-on-1 support to individuals with developmental disabilities in home, school, and community settings.Collect and accurately document data on client progress and behavior during each session.Collaborate with BCBAs to adjust and refine interventions based on data and client needs.Support and train families or caregivers to understand and reinforce behavior techniques.Use positive reinforcement and evidence-based strategies to encourage skill development.Maintain professional communication with BCBAs, families, and other care team members.Ensure a safe environment by implementing de-escalation techniques and crisis management strategies as needed.ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in psychology, education, or related field preferred.At least six months of experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities (ABA experience a plus).Strong interpersonal skills to effectively connect with clients, families, and team members.Reliable transportation to travel between service locations (if needed).Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.What we offerCompetitive hourly rate.Support and training to pursue the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.Ongoing professional development and mentorship from experienced BCBAs.A collaborative and supportive work environment dedicated to client success.About YouThe ideal candidate is passionate about working with children with autism.
