Gastroenterology Physician

Medical Search International has an excellent full-time permanent Gastroenterologist position with one of our top clients located in Western NJ. Please see the below practice description and contact me to discuss the opportunity in detail.

Gastroenterologist (BC / BE)

Location : Western NJ

Schedule : Full Time -Perm

Typical volumes are about 5-10 consults per day when on call for both hospitals

General GI preferred is the ideal candidate

Need is due to growth (We received about 450 referrals per month for GI from our Primary Car offices) Current waiting list is 3-4 months for a new patients

New doc will likely do 2 / 3 days in the office and 2 / 3 days in the ORs / Surgery Center

Call is 1 : 7

No outpatients scheduled when on call

Athena Outpatient EMR

Cantata Docs hate it (going to Cerner soon in Jan 2021)

Dictation service at hospital currently for notes and follows still on paper in the hospital

Endo Suit 4 Rooms / RMC 2 rooms (turnaround time is 15-20 mins. Surgery center is 10 mins)
