Internship Coordinator Salem Prep High School Internal SPS Staff ONLY SY 2025-2026

Compensation : Stipend Position Based SPS Hourly Rate

Job Description & Program Goal

  • The primary responsibility of the Internship Coordinator is to oversee the internship system at Salem Prep High School and provide students with valuable hands-on real-world learning experiences that align with their career interests.

The internship coordinator will support the following :

  • Mentorship : Conducting meetings as needed with students regarding their interests internship opportunities etc.
  • Coaching : Leading intern coaching cycles as needed.
  • Celebration : Celebrating the end-of-year successes.
  • Additional Duties : Other duties as assigned to support the internship and student success.
  • Collaboration : Work in collaboration with the principal of SPHS to meet program goals.
  • Coordinate volunteer opportunities for all students at SPHS.

    • The ideal candidate will be :

  • A Salem Public Schools staff member with experience working with high school students or interns.
  • Experienced in working with young people.
