This position will design, implement, and support artificial intelligence (AI) / machine learning (ML) systems as the subject matter expert for Wabash Valley Power Alliance. This position will work with all business units, member cooperatives, and business partners to automate and optimize workflows and processes while limiting business risks. Success requires a desire to work with a broad range of technologies, systems, and databases to benefit Wabash Valley Power and our Member Cooperatives. This position will also identify and develop AI / ML education for Wabash Valley Power and member cooperative staff.
This role is hybrid in nature, with a combination of on-site workdays and remote workdays.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Bachelor's Degree in quantitative science, engineering, or other STEM field
Three to five years prior artificial intelligence / machine learning or data analysis experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
Excellent technology proficiency with a strong commitment to continuous learning
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
