Accounts Receivable Specialist

A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist responsible for denial management and payment recovery in healthcare services. Key Responsibilities Review denied claims and conduct root cause analysis to identify denial drivers Collaborate with billing vendors to communicate denial insights and facilitate appeals Track appeal outcomes and monitor denial resolution, recommending process improvements Required Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in medical accounts receivable or denial management Proven expertise in inpatient and outpatient billing, preferably in specific service lines Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS coding, and payer authorization rules Familiarity with CARC / RARC denial codes and claim management systems Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and EMR platforms
