Special Education Teacher Autism Program

Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher to support an Autism-focused program at Lake Stevens, WA for the 20252026 academic year. This is an in-person role with a 9-month contract and a 37.5-hour weekly schedule.

Position Details

  • Location : Lake Stevens, WA
  • Start Date : September 2, 2025
  • Schedule : MondayFriday, 37.5 hours / week
  • Contract Length : 9 months
  • Pay Rate : $45 / hr

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited university (preferred)
  • Valid Washington teaching certificate as required by state and contract regulations
  • Minimum one year of classroom experience (preferred)
  • Licensure :
  • Standard Elementary Teaching (preferred)
  • Standard Secondary Teaching (preferred)
  • Standard Special Teaching (preferred)
  • Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) endorsement (preferred)
  • Current CPR certification (if applicable)
  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)
  • Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
