Demonstrated track record of overseeing audit readiness efforts and managing inaugural audit cycles. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for regular collaboration with internal leadership and external partners. Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities and stay organized in a fast-moving, dynamic environment. Our client is looking for an Accounting Manager to lead the GL accounting function and the month-end close process.
Responsibilities
- Own the global close process including intercompany transactions, parent company accounting and consolidation.
- Manage the end-to-end preparation of financial statements, guide monthly flux analysis, and provide leadership with clear, actionable management reporting.
- Optimize the month-end close process to increase efficiency, reduce close timelines, and strengthen review controls.
- Lead audit-readiness efforts for the company’s first financial statement audit, including drafting policies and memos, completing reconciliations, and documenting key processes.
- Support corporate income tax, business tax, and sales & use tax filings, along with ongoing compliance requirements.
- Manage liquidity activities by preparing cash flow forecasts, ensuring bank accounts are properly funded, and maintaining GAAP-compliant investment reporting.
- Act as NetSuite administrator and manage the configuration, maintenance and optimization of the system to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Initiate the design and implementation of automation and process improvements to support the company's growth and evolving business.
